Every new employee's onboarding, tracked in a Zendesk ticket

SweetHawk's Employee Onboarding adds a new employee form to the Zendesk Support navigation bar. Fill it in and the app creates a ticket for the new hire: they become the requester, get a friendly welcome message straight away, and the ticket holds everything your team needs to get them ready for day one.

Features

• One form for every new hire - name and personal email address, plus the fields your company needs. Fields are required by default; relax any of them in Setup.
• Suggested onboarding fields - Role, Manager, Start date, Location, Work arrangement, Laptop, GitHub username and Production access. Pick the ones you want and the app creates them, only after you confirm. Any of your existing ticket fields can be added too.
• Job types that start the right workflows - add job types such as Admin, Engineer or Exec, each with its own tags. Pick one on the form and its tags are added to the ticket, so your triggers and automations kick off exactly what that kind of hire needs.
• A welcome message in your own words - edit the subject and message, and insert the employee's details (first name, job type, start date, manager, or any field on the form) with one click. A live preview shows exactly what the new hire will receive.
• The ticket is the record - every onboarding ticket is tagged employee_onboarding and keeps the employee's details in ticket fields, ready for views, triggers and reports. Optionally, the app creates a dedicated Employee onboarding ticket form.
• Nothing falls through the cracks - onboardings still in progress are listed with the overdue ones first (the start date has arrived and the ticket is not solved yet), then upcoming ones by start date. Completed onboardings wait in an archive.
