About
BrandGuard is built on the Brand Context Protocol (BCP), an open framework that turns scattered brand guidelines into a machine-readable contract that AI agents, copy-review tools, and quality systems can enforce in real time. Our mission is to make every customer-facing message provably on-brand.
What it does
- Live brand check on every draft. Agents click Check Draft in the ticket sidebar to score the current reply against your brand voice, tone, banned phrases, and policy rules before sending.
- Specific, actionable feedback. The panel highlights off-brand phrases, missing disclaimers, and policy violations — with severity, rationale, and brand-aligned alternatives.
- One-click fixes. Apply Suggestions rewrites only the flagged spans; Rewrite for Customer produces a full brand-aligned reply tailored to the customer's original message.
- Strictness control. Toggle Advisory / Standard / Strict per ticket. Optionally block submission of replies that fail the check.
- Zero brand setup inside Zendesk. The API key identifies your brand workspace automatically; brand voice and rules are managed at brandcontextprotocol.com.
Data disclosure
When an agent invokes BrandGuard inside a ticket, the app sends the following data over HTTPS to https://www.brandcontextprotocol.com:
- The active reply draft text (
comment.text) at the moment of the action. Lightweight ticket context: subject, tags, organization id.
- The initial customer message (
ticket.description) — sent only when the agent clicks Rewrite for Customer.
The BCP API key is stored as a Zendesk secure setting and is injected server-side by the ZAF proxy; it is never exposed in browser JavaScript or DOM.
Data sent to BrandGuard is processed in-memory to compute the score, surface issues, and (on request) generate rewritten text. It is not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used to train external models. For retention, deletion, and subprocessor details, see our privacy policy.
Get started
- Create an API key at brandcontextprotocol.com → your brand workspace → Access → New API Key.
- Paste it into the BCP API Access Key field after installing the app.
Open any ticket — BrandGuard appears in the sidebar.
